This shirt is an all organic shirt printed on the EDUN Brand - a company started by Ali Hewson and Bono to support independent and sustainable production in Africa by Africans. The shirt itself contains the words to a philosophy often referred to by Bono and Nelson Mandella among many: 'Ubuntu' is an African saying which essentially defines humanity and is translated as "I am because we are". In other words, we are all dependent on the good-will and the well-being of the other people in our community.

In that spirit of community, we are donating a large portion (all profits) from the sales from these shirts to a charity that benefits Africa - The African Well-Fund. In fact, we will not make any profit on these shirts. This is a shirt that sends a message and we hope you will support that message.
